This is an image of the Milgram Shock Study. This shows how the experiment took place and what the experiment may have looked like.

1. He needs to include the authors name, the title of the book, publisher, and the date of publication. In the notes pages he will also include a page number when it is appropriate.

2. I understand annotated to mean how sources are used, found, and further explaining how each source is useful for him. More information is added when the text doesn't supply how the sources are used.

3. Notes 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 ,15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 24, and 25 don't have a page number citation. This is because Bess isn not referencing one specific page, but ideas throughout the text. 10-14 are different because he is referencing a specific idea that is only represented in those specific pages.

4. Bess credited his other sources when it was obvious he was working with the words of other authors by using quotes and including the last names of the authors. We would know the author, but we would not the specific work he was referencing if we didn't have the notes page.

5. What makes Bess's argument original is how he is not conducting the ideas or experiments himself, he is analyzing his beliefs and opinions on the matter such as The Ordinary Man. He uses this book to use other work from a historian and create his own argument on the situation and determining how his results relate back to human psychology.
