Old West

When I think of "Old West", five words that come to mind are rural, hot, stale, country, and brown. I think of these words because when the term "Old West" comes to mind, I picture warm summer day in a rural and isolated area, with light brown dirt and tumbleweeds blowing in the wind with a singular tree in the background with no leaves on the branches. I believe that maybe these words come to mind because of the stereotypes that have been classified with the old west throughout the generations such as through television programs or social media. Typically with these sources, the old west of shown as a empty, and somewhat dirty place with not many interesting places encompassing it.
